Board of Selectmen · Meeting of July 13, 2026
NH FARMINGTON — Farmington Board of Selectmen authorizes Public Works Director posting and approves utility extensions. The board accepted resignations from Tim Huppe and Scott Pike, effective upon work completion and July 9 respectively. Three water and sewer extension projects serving residential development on Central, Perkins, and Spring streets were approved conditional on design review by the town's engineer and bond requirements set by Water/Sewer Supervisor Chuck Tiffany.
The board approved a student firefighter program paying interns $10 hourly for up to 24 hours weekly through Lakes Region Community College's Fire Science Program, with mandatory 30-day performance reviews and strict enforcement of policies prohibiting alcohol, drugs, and firearms. Mobile home park renewals for Ridge and Peaceful Pines were approved following Building Inspector Carl Roy's on-site inspections.
