Selectboard approves Water Well project, addresses levy coordination

NH FARMINGTON — Farmington selectmen approve water well project with cemetery association. The Board of Selectmen unanimously approved a Memorandum of Understanding with the Pine Grove Cemetery Association for the Well 4R project, enabling the town to pursue environmental permits. In separate unanimous votes, the board clarified that ambulance purchases through Autotronics would be funded from the Emergency Medical Motorized Equipment Fund and accepted resident Felicia McCowan as an alternate to the Conservation Commission.
Former Interim Town Administrator Paul Sanderson outlined recommendations for centralized data management and designated point persons for major projects, and identified the multi-agency permitting requirements for the ongoing Cocheco River Levy project, which will require approvals from the Army Corps of Engineers, Fish and Game, and the Department of Transportation.
