Selectmen appoint King as emergency management director

NH FARMINGTON — Farmington selectmen fill emergency director slot, recommend health officer to state. The Board of Selectmen appointed Chairman Charlie King as Emergency Management Director for the coming year, filling a position vacant since the Fire Chief post went unfilled. The board unanimously recommended Carl Roy, the town's contract Building Inspector, to the state as Health Officer.
Committee appointments moved forward: Rick Pelkey and Stephen Henry were reappointed to the Planning Board for three years, James Pollard reappointed to the Conservation Commission for three years, and Philip Harris appointed to the Conservation Commission. The Zoning Board reappointment of Robert Morgan was tabled to March 30.
