SRO subcommittee backs two-officer staffing level for budget year 2027

NH FARMINGTON — Farmington SRO Subcommittee agrees to maintain two-officer staffing level for the coming year. The committee concluded two school resource officers represent the most appropriate level based on identified school needs. Selectman Doug Staples, Selectman Ann Titus, School Board Member Stacy Lauze, School Board Member Rebecca Varney, Town Administrator Jason Henry, and Police Lieutenant Embrey supported the decision.

Members also agreed to remove truancy responsibilities from the SRO role and assign to a district employee in a revised memorandum of understanding.
