NH FARMINGTON — Farmington Planning Board approves 3-megawatt solar array, conservation subdivision. The board approved Cardinal Landfill Solar's 3-megawatt ground-mounted photovoltaic array on the former landfill property, initially approved in 2019, with the site plan approval passing 4-0-1 with Selectmen's Rep Charlie King abstaining; the project comprises approximately 10 acres of solar panels across two areas. A design review for the Huckins Trust's excavation proposal on a 78.63-acre parcel off Huckins Lane, with plans to excavate approximately 280,000 cubic yards, was closed.
The board unanimously approved a subdivision by John Wingate subdividing 51.36 acres into two lots to facilitate a conservation easement to Moose Mountain Regional Greenways.
